Director Rohan Knight brings more than 15 years of construction industry experience, progressing from a qualified roof plumber through site leadership, Construction Manager and General Manager roles.
His involvement has spanned investigation and scope development, tendering, contract negotiation, pre-construction planning, programming and delivery. This includes managing projects exceeding $5 million and leading tenders valued up to $20 million.
This experience has been gained throughout Rohan’s career, including previous employment, and informs the approach KNICORE brings to each project.
Experience coordinating hailstorm remediation, property damage reinstatement and reconstruction following major loss events. Involvement across scoping, estimating, consultant coordination, procurement and delivery.
Experience managing works across multi-building precincts, including occupied residential environments of approximately 300 apartments. Coordination with insurers, loss adjusters, consultants, strata managers, owners and residents.
Site delivery experience involving heritage-listed buildings, government tenancies and publicly accessible areas. Scope has included roofing, structural roof alterations and custom façade works, with access and stakeholder requirements incorporated into planning.
Experience bringing architects, engineers, certifiers and specialist consultants together to develop reconstruction solutions. Work has involved structural steel, roof design, shopfront glazing, wet areas and building services for warm-shell tenancy delivery.
Buildability review, staging, procurement and trade sequencing shaped around access, operational requirements and the agreed programme.
Scope definition, estimating, budget monitoring and variation communication, supported by inspection checkpoints and defect close-out.
Direct communication with clients, consultants and occupants, alongside trade coordination and site safety planning throughout delivery.
Investigating recurring water ingress revealed defective roof work that had previously been patched. KNICORE developed and installed a custom flashing detail to address the issue without replacing the defective roof works, providing a cost-effective, non-invasive solution for the client and tenants below.
The review also identified a separate vulnerable roof detail that was not yet causing water ingress. An additional custom flashing detail was installed proactively.
Following rainfall after completion, the client confirmed that the water ingress had stopped.
Completed in October 2026, these works brought together replacement of 540 linear metres of skylights, 100 linear metres of box gutters and associated sump and overflow upgrades. KNICORE also coordinated scaffold access, crane operations, concrete slab repairs and replacement of water-damaged ceiling tiles.
